Gabions refer to containers that are scraped from a metal wire that are filled directly at the object with a stone or a click. Construction and engineering data were used extensively by the military in many years ago in the construction of accommodating facilities (remedia). Now, with the help of the harbors, they form the shores of water bodies, they put in tight walls, and they reinforce the discord. In addition, grid boxes of the right geometric form are used as components of decor in landscape design. As a rule, habions are not manufactured by their own hands, buying plant grids of suitable size in the right amount. The retreaded containers shall be disposed of at the site of their installation and filled with the raw material chosen. Disagents are already inspired by a lot of ideas on the decoration of the landing areas by habion facilities. Some of them can be successfully implemented in their land area, copying a visual on the picture. It is a little more difficult to develop a project by exploring the ready proposals of landscape designers.

Gabion manufacturers use zinc wire as the reference material with a surface density of 250-280 g/m2. This value is five times greater than the zinc density of the " slave " grid used for various kinds of fences. Instead of zincocking the wire, PVC-covering may be attached. The thickness of the coated wire ranges between 2 and 6 mm. Cut containers shall have a special strength achieved by using dual-walling technology. The grid cells are shaped by the right multiangle. The filler is selected taking into account the size of the grid cell. Large calibres are provided with additional section compartments that prevent their net walls from being wrapped at the time of filling.
